የሰንበት ትምሀርት ቤት አመራር ኮሚቴ የወጣቶች የገና ጉባኤ ዓርብ በ Dec 23፣ በ 3: 00 pm አዘጋጅተዋል፤
በቤተክርስትያናችን በልጆች የመፅሐፍ ቅዱስ ትምህርት በአስተማሪነት በመሳተፍ ትልቅ አስተዋፆ እያደረገች ያልችው ወጣት ኢዛቤላ ወሰን ከሰሞኑ በሲቲቪ ጣቢያ ቀርባ አዲስ ስለጀመርችው የእርዳታ ፕሮግራም ገለፃ ስትሰጥ ተመልክተናል። በቤተክርስትያናችን ያደጉ ልጆች እንዲህ ለቁም ነገር በቅተው ሃልፊነት ወስደው የተቸገረን ለመርዳት ሲሯሯጡ ማየት በጣም ደስ ይላል። እንደዚህ አይንት የወጣቶች እንቅስቃሴ ከእርዳታም አልፎ ለሌሎች ልጆች ታላቅ ምሳሌ ስለሚሆን የኛ የወላጆ ድጋፍና ማበረታታት በጣም አስፈላጊ ነው። ሰለዚህም ኢዛቤላን በጀመረችው የእርዳታ ፕሮግራም ለመደገፍ እንዲሁም ለሌሎች ማሳወቅ ለምትፈልጉ በሲቲቪ የሰጠችውን ገለፃና የፕሮግራሙን ማስፈንጠርያ ከዚህ በታች አስቀምጠናል.

Recently, we have seen on the local CTV news an interview given by Isabella Wossen, who is one of the youth actively running the children Bible program in our church, about an initiative that she has started to support those in need in Ethiopia. It is wonderful to see children who have grown in our church take such huge responsibility to help others. Additionally, this type of youth activity is exemplary to other children in our church and as such, the support and encouragement of we, the parents, is very important. የቤተክርስትያናችንን የወጣቶች መንፈሳዊ እገልግሎትን ማሻሻል በተመለከተ ባለፉት ወራቶች የተለያዩ ውይይቶች ሲካሀዱ ቆይተዋል። ውይይቱም በቤተ ክርስትያናችን የልጆችና የወጣቶች ፕርግራም አስተባባሪ ዲያቆን ሳምሶን አምባዬ መሪነት የወላጆች ኮሚቴ አባላትንና ወጣቶችን ያካተተ ነበር። ከብዙ ውይይትም በኋላ ወጣቶችን ወደ ቤተ ክርስትያናችን ለመሳብ የነሱን ፍላጎት በትክክል መረዳት እንደሚያስፈለግ ታምኖበት የኦንላይን ሰርቬይ ተዘጋጅቶአል። የዚህም ሰርቬይ አላማ ዕድሜአችው ከ18 በላይ የሆኑና ከዚህ በፊት ወደ ቤተክርስትያናችን ይመጡ የነበሩና አሁን መምጣት የቀነሱ ወጣቶችንና እንዲሁም እሁንም እየመጡ ያሉ ወጣቶች የቤተክርስትያናችን የወጣቶች አገልግሎት ሊሻሻል የሚችልበትን መንገድ ቀጥታ ከነሱ ምክር ለማግኘት ነው። ወላጆች ይህንን መልእክት ለወጣቶች እንድታስተላልፉ በትህትና እንጠይቃለን።

Dear Brothers and Sisters:
During the past several months, there has been a discussion going on regarding actions needed to improve the spiritual service of the young adults in our church. Led by our children and youth program coordinator Deacon Samson Ambaye, the discussion involved Parent’s committee members and young adults. After several discussions, it was agreed that in order to run a successful program for that age group, it is essential to understand their need and hence an online survey has been prepared. The objective of this online service is to obtain direct feedback and suggestion from young adults older than 18 years old that used to regularly come to our church but do so less now and also from the same age group that regularly come now on how to improve services.
We kindly ask parents to forward this message to young adults older than 18 years.

On behalf of Ethiopian Orthodox Church, we are pleased to invite you to a remarkable graduation ceremony and celebration, to recognize and appraise some of our young talent and minds. There has been a substantial number of university, college and high school graduates of Ethiopian descent from Ottawa-Gatineau region in the last few years. We are inviting graduating classes of 2018 as well as parents, family and friends to this event. The ceremony is held at the premises of St. Tekle Haimanot Orthodox Tewahedo Church, 915 Merivale Road, Ottawa, Ontario, on Saturday July 7, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Our young graduates are sons and daughters of Ethiopians immigrated to Canada in the last three decades. We take honor and pride in celebrating this outstanding academic achievement. Let’s get together and share a moment of success, stories, academic excellence of our kids who are paving the road map for a better tomorrow. We hope this would be an inspiration to the hundreds of young minds at the secondary level of studies.
Last but not least, we congratulate hard working moms and dads of these young Ethio-Canadians, who gave everything they have to help educate their children enduring obstacles and difficulties facing new immigrants.

On behalf of Ethiopian Orthodox Church, we are pleased to invite you to a remarkable graduation ceremony and celebration, to recognize and appraise some of our young talent and minds. There has been a substantial number of university, college and high school graduates of Ethiopian descent from Ottawa-Gatineau region in the last few years. We are inviting graduating classes of 2017 as well as parents, family and friends to this event. The ceremony is held at the premises of St. Tekle Haimanot Orthodox Tewahedo Church, 915 Merivale Road, Ottawa, Ontario, on June 24, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Our young graduates are sons and daughters of Ethiopians immigrated to Canada in the last three decades. We take honor and pride in celebrating this outstanding academic achievement. Let’s get together and share a moment of success, stories, academic excellence of our kids who are paving the road map for a better tomorrow. We hope this would be an inspiration to the hundreds of young minds at the secondary level of studies.
Last but not least, we congratulate hard working moms and dads of these young Ethio-Canadians, who gave everything they have to help educate their children enduring obstacles and difficulties facing new immigrants.

On behalf of Ethiopian Orthodox Church volunteers, we are pleased to invite you to a remarkable graduation ceremony and celebration, to recognize some of our young talent and minds. There have been a substantial number of college and university graduates of Ethiopian descent from Ottawa-Gatineau region in the last few years. We are inviting graduating classes of 2016 as well as parents, family and friends to this event. The ceremony is held at St. Tekle Haimanot church, 915 Merivale Road, Ottawa, Ontario, on June 25th, start at 4:30 PM to 8:30PM

Summer Amharic Program:
A free summer Amharic program will run at St. Elizabeth, 1366 Coldrey Ave., Ottawa from July 4, 2016 to August 5, 2016 between 9:00 am to 11:30 am. There is a $10 registration fee per student. Print the form at the following link, fill the information and bring it to church next Sunday.
